Maybe someday I will remember to upload these pictures in reverse so everything won't be posted backwards! Grr. Anyway, Lulu turned 4. How does time go by so fast!? She was so cute the entire day and the picture above is how it ended. We had a big family cook out and then the Scotherns stayed for a bit after to watch a movie so Lulu got to have a bit of a "sleepover" with her cousins too. I think they left around midnight.
Lulu has a grandpa named Papa Mike that absolutely ADORES her even though she hardly ever remembers to tell him thank you on her own. Anyone else have this problem? He showed up with a Disney Princess gift bag big enough for Lulu herself to be in. It was filled to the top with everything Princess Lulu asked for and then some. A princess sleepinig bag, dress-up clothes, candy, coloring books, sticker books, it just kept going!
And Papa Mike's dad; Pa Jeb, always knows what to get this little girl. She has not taken this Snow White gown off since her birthday last Tuesday and doesn't understand why she can't wear it to church and preschool.

Aunt Alisha and Aunt Channa found this Hello Kitty gumball machine and water cooler! Lulu looked at me and stopped breathing with a look of shock on her face when she opened this. I'm surprised she doesn't have lock jaw from how much gum she has been chewing.

I attempted to make a princess cake but it was a big flop. Such a flop in fact that as I was walking the cake over to Lulu to blow her candles out, the turrets fell off! Good thing she didn't see. We took off the broken pieces, tried to shove the turrets back on the cake, lit the candles, turned out the lights, and voila! I'm grateful my most important critic was an ecstatic 4 year old that thought it was the best cake ever anyway.

Here she is posing before heading off to dance class. She wore this birthday princess crown all day!

And this was what she woke up to: we had all her gifts from us laid out on the couch then Cody made her the breakfast of her choosing, which was french toast. It was gourmet! He did a good job. It really was a fun-filled day. She went to preschool, dance class, then home for the party, then a half sleepover with the cousins. She seems so grown up! We are struggling with this and enjoying it at the same time.
Also, Charlie is so close to crawling. He gets that one little leg stuck and then falls to his belly. This little boy just melts me. So happy and silly.
