Me & Mine

"The fact is that most putts don't drop, most beef is tough, most children grow up to be just people, most successful marriages require a high degree of mutual toleration, and most jobs are more often dull than otherwise. Life is just like an old time rail journey.... delays, sidetracks, smoke, dust, cinder, and jolts, interspersed only occasionally by beautiful vistas and thrilling bursts of speed. The trick is to thank the Lord for letting you have the ride." President Gordon B. Hinckley

A lot of pictures and catch up!!!

So I turned 30!!! Yup. I can admit it. But it's only because I had a rockin party! I told Cody if he wants to see me age gracefully, he had better throw me a surprise party. AND HE DID!! That was the biggest surprise of all! It was at my studio and it was all his family and mine- no friends. HA HA HA. I thought that was funny but very Cody. He arranged it and got everyone to help where needed. I felt very loved. We did the limbo, the kids played pin the tail on the donkey, my niece cut her head open and had to get stitches, I did a cheerleader stunt with Kris to get a balloon off the ceiling, and I blew out 30 candles in one blow! Go me!

Here is me with my babies at the party.

This is me freaking out to Cody that he even arranged for my favorite fondue to be there.

Here is Channa, me, and my mom singing karaoke! Ya baby!

Here is the man who pulled it all off.

And the other man who has stolen my heart! (Charlie)

Onto a new subject, Charlie turned 6 months old! What??!! I don't remember it going this fast with Lulu! But he is just such a wonderful little guy. He is so cuddly and happy. He gives me hugs and has been trying to give me kisses even! He still takes cuddle naps on me. He is sitting up, rolling over, eating babyfood, and when he giggles out loud (pretty much anytime his diaper is even changed because he is so ticklish!) my world just stops and I am truly happy.

No matter what else is going on, he can always bring me up.

How freaking cute is this kid!? Come on.

He loves to cook. He gets mad if I don't let him be involved when I cook so this is how we have been getting that job done lately. Maybe he'll become a chef one day and cook wonderful meals for me in his own fabulous restaurant. While I'm dreaming, let's put that restaurant in Hawaii.

And another subject, Cody has been really cute with the kids lately. Today, he brought in a picnic while we were watching "Marley & Me." It was mini weiners that we roasted on canned heat and cubed cheese bites. The twins instantly asked if we could make this our new family tradition.

The other night, he made this fort for Lulu. Or "fork" as she calls it. She has a really comfy bed but slept here for the whole week.

Those scary feet you see are from the barbie that is as tall as she is that Gramma Cherry bought her at the DI. Nice, eh?

And I didn't want to cook the other night so Cody took it on. He made us turkey steaks, instant potatoes, green beans, and a side of bacon. He called it a man meal. Mmmm Hmmmm.

And in his excitement, he dropped his dinner on the floor and broke a plate. It would've been funny if I had no conscience but I do however so I felt bad and helped him clean up.

And yet another topic, cute Lulu LOVES her little bro. I had just gotten her out of the bath and after cleaning things up, I found her like this. She was dancing and singing to him on the bed to keep him happy. Her song was a made up one about princesses and Rainbow Brite.

They make me happy.

And so does her little bubble butt.

And I leave this last picture in hopes that this makes you happy too.
