Me & Mine

"The fact is that most putts don't drop, most beef is tough, most children grow up to be just people, most successful marriages require a high degree of mutual toleration, and most jobs are more often dull than otherwise. Life is just like an old time rail journey.... delays, sidetracks, smoke, dust, cinder, and jolts, interspersed only occasionally by beautiful vistas and thrilling bursts of speed. The trick is to thank the Lord for letting you have the ride." President Gordon B. Hinckley

Growing...

Here is Mr. Charlie at 2 weeks old. He didn't want to do a photo shoot very much because he was hungry but here ya go.

3 weeks old. He makes some cute silly faces. I'm so in love.

Chubby and happy at 4 weeks. He is growing way too fast! I'm trying to enjoy every minute but it is just speeding by! I have already put away his newborn clothes and moved in the 0 to 3 months clothes. :o(

Lulu loves this little boy so SO much! It is precious to see how gentle she is with him. When I nurse him, she pulls her shirt up and "nurses" her doll too. So cute.

On Sunday, September 6th, Cody blessed him at our ward. His mom and dad bought this sweet little tuxedo for him and it was such a special day.

When the blessing was finished and Cody handed Charlie back to me, he gave his first real smile. He smiles in his sleep a lot and it is the CUTEST smile but this was his first wide awake smile. It's like he knew what was going on and felt how special it was.

Here's our little family. Our first family picture since Charlie joined us and without me being huge. Logan saw me on Sunday for the first time in 2 weeks and couldn't put his finger on what was so different about me. He finally figured out that I'm not as FAT as I was. Thanks Logan.

This is the only picture I got from the blessing. Good job Jen. This is Lulu having a tea party with some of her cousins. Too cute.

I just had to post this. Lulu is still the princess.

And here's the little sweetie on her first day of preschool. I let her pick our her outfit. At least it kinda matched! She loves school and is such a big girl all of the sudden.
